Nike's success story can look back on more than 50 years of sportswear and sports shoes. Everything started very differently. Under the name "Blue Ribbon Sports", onitsuka Tiger, sports shoes were to be sold from 1964. It shouldn't stay here, because since the beginning of the seventies, Nike has successfully sold its products under its own name. It all started with a small university project and $ 1200: medium-distance runner Phil Knight and Coach Bill Powerman are the Nike fathers. As we know today, the choice of the name of the Greek goddess of victory "Nike" proved to be a good sign of the future, because the small project of two athletes has arrived in the Sport Olympus.
